Partner With Us

Corporate, government and NGO partnerships enable BREEF to scale conservation and education programmes across the islands. Partnership opportunities include sponsorships, corporate volunteer days and educational collaborations.

Thank You to Our Donors

Your generosity fuels everything we do. With your support, BREEF provides hands‑on environmental education for Bahamians, advocates for strong marine policies, restores coral reefs and represents our islands on the world stage. Thanks to your gifts, we’ve trained teachers in every Bahamian school, reached thousands of students each year, established coral nurseries at our Sculpture Garden and on the Andros Great Barrier Reef, and helped secure protections for key species.

We’re deeply grateful to each individual, organization and partner who believes in our mission. Together we’re safeguarding The Bahamas’ marine environment for current and future generations. Thank you for being part of the BREEF family.

Acknowledgment

BREEF is thrilled to collaborate with award‑winning marine conservation photojournalist Shane Gross, whose passion for protecting the aquatic realm shines through in every image. After moving to The Bahamas in 2012, he spent nearly a decade exploring the archipelago’s underwater ecosystems, capturing hundreds of stunning photographs of sharks, dolphins, sea turtles, seahorses, octopuses and other iconic marine life. His work has been recognised at the highest levels and he is an Emerging League Photographer with the International League of Conservation Photographers.

These images, and the stories behind them, are collected in the hardcover coffee‑table book Bahamas Underwater. The book features short essays and chapters dedicated to different habitats and species, with a foreword by legendary ocean explorer Jean‑Michel Cousteau and an introduction by BREEF’s executive director. It contains more than 200 breathtaking images and short stories about The Bahamas’ most iconic marine creatures. All proceeds from the book support BREEF’s mission and help us donate copies to schools across the country, inspiring young Bahamians to appreciate and protect their marine environment.

You can experience the magic of our oceans from home by ordering your copy today. If you’re in The Bahamas, you can pick up books at the BREEF office in Caves Village, Nassau. International orders are available through the photographer's website. Thank you for celebrating the artistry of this dedicated photographer and for supporting marine conservation!
